Third NSW Football Facilities Forum to connect and educate
Football NSW is to stage its third Football Facilities Forum, presenting an all-inclusive update of football facilities, with leading experts sharing their knowledge of facilities case studies, funding opportunities including the new NSW Asian Cup 2015 Legacy Fund, synthetic surface updates, and working with government at all levels.
Presenting an opportunity to network with key stakeholders, the event has this year been expanded to offer a full-day program.
Being staged at Valentine Sports Park in Western Sydney on Friday 4th November 2016, the Forum aims to connect and educate football stakeholders and facilities providers, from associations and clubs to local councils and state government.
Program includes:
• The development of Women’s Football and the need for facilities investment. Keynote speech from Westfield Matildas Head Coach Alen Stajcic.
• NSW Asian Cup 2015 Legacy Fund - information about the fund, project management stages and how to succeed with your funding application.
• There will also be sessions on Business Planning, the Community Building Partnership, ClubGRANTS Category 3, Synthetic field case studies and Turf Management.
• Sessions on engagement with federal, state and local government to be presented by Craig Laundy, MP for Reid; Matt Kean, MP for Hornsby and former Warringah Council Mayor Michael Regan.
Starting at 9.30am, the day will conclude with networking drinks from 3.30pm in the Football NSW offices.
