TEG forms strategic alliance with Division Agency
Leading ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics company TEG has announced a strategic alliance with the Division Agency to promote national tours and events featuring electronic dance music acts.
The joint venture comes after Jason Ayoubi joined the Division Agency as a Partner and Director, reuniting with Scott Robertson. In tandem, they were the driving force behind Future Music Festival and Summadayze.
Explaining said the link will build a powerful combination of Division Agency’s genre knowledge with TEG’s strength as a promoter and marketer, TEG Chief Executive Geoff Jones stated “this alliance makes sense from so many angles and the winners will be EDM fans and artists.
“TEG has a diverse and dynamic roster of artists who we promote and we have great respect for Jason and Scott’s achievements and ambitions. There are exciting times ahead.”
Ayoubi said he was thrilled to back in business with Robertson and excited by the new alliance, adding “we’ve achieved great things together and there’s so much more to come.
“I’m looking forward to producing some massive projects and enjoying the buzz that only comes from doing what I love - putting on iconic and life enhancing events.”
In live touring and major event sport, TEG has promoted the world’s biggest names. In 2017 alone, TEG has promoted Guns N’ Roses ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’ in Australia and New Zealand, the Chevrolet Brasil Global Tour (Brasil v Argentina) in Melbourne and the breakthrough Australian debut of Intel Extreme Masters esports. Upcoming events include Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Toruk – The First Flight’, Jerry Seinfeld and Katy Perry’s ‘Witness’ tour.
Division Agency has grown at an impressive rate in the past 12 months having launched two of Sydney’s most exciting new venues (Goodbar and Seadeck) as well as boasting an enviable sold-out run of summer shows at the Greenwood Hotel.
Division Agency has launched two new boutique festivals (Knee Deep In Sydney and Days Like This Festival) at Royal Randwick at the start of the year in partnership with Paul Strange Presents.
As the brains trust of Future Entertainment, Ayoubi and Robertson shaped some of the global touring industry’s hottest properties, including the flagship Future Music Festival, an international juggernaut which regularly gathered close to 250,000 revellers.
Future Entertainment was responsible for selling millions of tickets across Australia and Malaysia and for touring the biggest names in music, from Deadmau5, Eric Prdyz, Swedish House Mafia, Drake, and The Prodigy to Pharrell Williams, The Stone Roses, The Chemical Brothers, New Order, Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, the late James Brown, Avicii, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and Fatboy Slim.
