Details revealed of WhiteWater World’s new waterslides
Ardent Leisure has revealed details of the Fully 6 waterslides that will be introduced at its WhiteWater World this summer.
The construction on the six new waterslides located in WhiteWater World, is well underway, with all concrete works poured and the slides arriving from Turkey-based manufacturer Polin Waterparks at the Gold Coast attraction at the end of next week.
Looking forward to the new waterslides, Dreamworld Chief Operating Officer, Greg Yong advised “fully 6 will be the first new waterslide experience to open at any Gold Coast theme park since 2014.
“This will be a new experience for WhiteWater World guests, with an intermediate thrill level sitting in between our most adrenalin-packed slides and our kids’ waterslides.”
As part of a $7-million investment into WhiteWater World, Fully 6 will feature six body slides with five unique ‘splashtacular’ experiences and multi-coloured natural light effects.
Fully 6 has been created by Swimplex-Polin Australia, with Swimplex’s Daniel Leaver explaining “body slides are the purest form of waterslide you will experience - it’s just you, the water, and a big splash at the bottom.
“We are pleased to be working with WhiteWater World to introduce these exhilarating waterslide experiences.”
Work is also currently underway on refurbishing the waterpark’s existing slides and attractions, including fresh paint which will restore the slides to ‘as new’ condition.
Yong added “Fully 6 is just one reason to get your annual pass now, with the southern Hemisphere’s first flying theatre - Sky Voyager - open, Happy Halloween coming up and much more planned for the summer holidays and beyond.”
