Ian Coombes Limited to distribute Polin Waterparks products in New Zealand

Christchurch-based aquatic facilities specialist Ian Coombes Limited has announced its appointment as the distributor of Polin Waterparks products in New Zealand.

With branches in Wellington and Auckland as well as its Christchurch head office, Ian Coombes Limited has, for the past 40 years, been providing turnkey design and build solutions for aquatic facilities coupled with bespoke specialist equipment manufacture.

Established in 1976, Turkey-based Polin Waterparks have installed over 3,000 waterslides in 105 countries.

A leader in the design, manufacture and installation of water slides and waterparks throughout the world, Polin Waterparks are famous for their RTM (resin transfer moulding) slide finish commonly referred to as the 'magic shine' or 'shiny both sides' waterslide finish.  

Ian Coombes Limited's partnership with Polin Waterslides will see it deliver unique state-of-the-art hydroslides (as waterslides are known in New Zealand) that are easy to maintain, environmentally friendly, cost effective with minimum construction waste and ISO 9001 International Quality system standards certified.

The first New Zealand installation to be delivered through the venture is a massive 11.3 metre vertical triple hydroslide for Invercargill's Splash Palace aquatic centre.

Construction of this giant attraction has begun with completion set for December 2019.
