Dreamworld looks to recruit for the upcoming holiday season
Dreamworld has commenced its seasonal recruitment drive for the September and December school holiday periods, looking for more than 100 new team members to work across a range of departments.
As one of the largest employers on the Gold Coast, the theme park gives thousands of locals the chance to work across a diverse range of roles in a fun and unique environment, and now it is looking for even more recruits to join the team.
This season, new team members are being provided the opportunity to apply for jobs within the fields of food and beverage, retail, attractions, aquatics, wildlife, guest services, administration and entertainment, and some of these successful candidates will be able to continue on in a permanent role.
Multi-hire opportunities are also often extended to Dreamworld team members, ensuring employees become equipped with numerous skills, working across various departments.
Dreamworld Chief Operating Officer, Greg Yong comments “each year, Dreamworld provides more locals with critical work experience to help pave the way for their future careers and provide them with practical skills within the work force, as well as offering a Training Academy to deliver continued learning and development opportunities.
“As Australia’s largest theme park, Dreamworld aspires to nurture and support the wider Queensland community by offering a multitude of positions and we look forward to welcoming our new team members soon.”
The theme park industry plays an important role in boosting the economy and remains vital to the local tourism industry.
