Sydney Olympic Park Authority appoints new Chief Executive
Sydney Olympic Park Authority has announced the appointment of Carla Armanet as its new Chief Executive.
Armanet is described as “an experienced senior executive that has managed high-functioning teams for world-class venues and international tourist attractions. She is widely known for her brand, major event, and stakeholder management, and commercial and operational proficiency.”
She was previously Director Experiences, Partnerships, and Engagement at the Botanic Gardens of Sydney and has extensive experience across program and precinct management, place activation, events, sport and recreation.
She is very familiar with Sydney Olympic Park having worked here for 13 years previously from 1998 to 2011.
The Sydney Olympic Park Business Association advised that it “is delighted to welcome Carla back to the Park and we look forward to working closely together.”
Armanet (pictured) commences in the role as of today (22nd January).
