Strathbogie Shire invites community to select splash park equipment

Victoria's Strathbogie Shire Council has committed $1 million in funding in its 2021/22 Budget to create a splash park at Buckley Park, Nagambie and they are inviting the surrounding communities to select the equipment.

Council has engaged Wacky Water Play as the contractor to develop the aquatic facility for the Nagambie community. Wacky Water Play has installed a range of aquatic themed equipment in various locations across Australia including the well-established Resort Big4 Yamba.

The splash park pad at at Buckley Park allows for nine individual pieces of equipment and there are 11 options to choose from.

Council has all the equipment listed on www.share.strathbogie.vic.gov.au and Strathbogie Shire Mayor Laura Binks is encouraging the community to select their preference.

Feedback closes at 9am on Monday, 31st January. Construction works aim to start in February with completion expected in late September.
