South Bank’s brand new playground

One of the most popular playgrounds on Brisbane’s South Bank, Riverside Green Playground, has undergone an exciting overhaul and has now re-opened.

The works have made the playground an even safer and more entertaining experience for visitors to South Bank, and the totally new facility features state-of-the-art play equipment suitable for children of ages from two to 15 years.

The playground features a pirate ship; double swing; wide slide; a skywalk, bridges and connecting slides; a rubber belt bridge and embankment; muse wheel and a supernova.

There are also new picnic tables and barbecues, and the lush grassed area and view of the Brisbane River makes is set to make this a popular pace for families.
