Smart Connection Consultancy makes financial contribution to IAKS ANZ
Following their successful collaboration in delivering the 2024 National Sports and Physical Activity Convention, event organiser the Smart Connection Consultancy has presented IAKS Australia and New Zealand (IAKS ANZ) with a financial contribution.
The contribution, for an undisclosed amount, following the resounding success of the joint NSC IAKS 24 event earlier this year - resulting from partnership and commitment to advance the sport industry that also included the Melbourne Convention Bureau and Victorian State Government.
The funds were announced at the conclusion of the recent IAKS ANZ Christmas Party in Melbourne.
This donation marks a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between NSC and IAKS ANZ, elevating the NSC IAKS 2024 event to a multi-national audience. The NSC IAKS 2024 event was pivotal in showcasing the development of world-class sports facilities and promote international best practices in sporting infrastructure across the region.
The financial contribution will be used to further the objectives of IAKS ANZ, to facilitate an active world and offer an exciting and insightful calendar of events in 2025. With access to a global network of experts, IAKS ANZ can continue to bring this international knowledge to the region and support ongoing dedication to creating environments that foster inclusion, participation, and excellence.
Expressing gratitude for the funding, noting that the financial donation would be instrumental in driving the success of IAKS ANZ in 2025 and advancing key initiatives in the region, IAKS ANZ Chair, Yvette Audet stated “we are incredibly grateful to NSC for this generous contribution.
“This support will allow us to continue to grow the impact of the IAKS ANZ network and ensure that we can offer valuable networking opportunities. It means we can keep bringing the leading minds of cutting-edge solutions in the sports and leisure industry together at knowledge sharing events and provide access to our global network and global expertise to the region.
“As we look toward the future, this partnership underscores the critical role of cross-industry collaborations in shaping the future of sport, providing opportunities for innovation, and ensuring that world-class sporting experiences are available to athletes and communities alike.”
The 2025 National Sports and Physical Activity Convention will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25th and 26th June.
