Salisbury Recreation Precinct to receive major upgrade
The Salisbury Recreation Precinct is to be upgraded with key elements of the precinct redevelopment expected to include modern indoor and outdoor swimming pools to reflect a range of uses, a splash pad and water play space, hydrotherapy pool and café
City of Salisbury has welcomed the South Australian Government’s commitment of $7.185 million towards the redevelopment located at Happy Home Drive, Salisbury North.- with funding delivered through its Local Government Infrastructure Partnership Program and with a matching amount put forward by Council.
When completed, the upgraded facilities will enhance Salisbury as a welcoming and liveable city, while providing increased recreational opportunities for the entire community.
The project will entail an important revitalisation of this popular community facility with the redevelopment to be shaped through community engagement to create a precinct which will meet the needs of the community for many years to come.
