Queenax Australasia rebrands as Ideal Gyms

After a period of ongoing growth, fitness equipment distributor Queenax Australasia has announced a change of brand and trading name to Ideal Gyms Pty Ltd.

Born from success achieved from introducing the Queenax functional training concept to Australia and New Zealand, Ideal Gyms provides a range of innovative functional training products that challenge the status quo of what a traditional fitness facility should be.

Explaining the change, an Ideal Gyms statement says “while assisting various fitness centres in the process of designing their functional spaces, we found ourselves working to source a greater range of high-quality products for a growing list of customers that complement the Queenax frame.

“The catalyst and resulting need to migrate into our new company structure was the signing of exclusive distribution agreements for several exciting and cutting edge functional training products, and the subsequent purchase of our parent company, Queenax Italy, by Precor Incorporated.”

Ideal Gyms will continue to represent Queenax as distributors in Australia and New Zealand alongside Precor while also distributing the following brands:

• Ziva 
• Crankit 
• 4dPro 
• CorMax 
• FitGraphix 
• A1 Rubber Gym Flooring 

The Ideal Gyms statement added “key to our ethos and service are strong education packages, we believe that without a suite of education options, the best equipment in the world will go under utilised.

“For this reason, we have aligned ourselves with products that truly deliver innovative design and education to cater for the functional training revolution that is currently sweeping the fitness industry.

Ideal Gyms will represent Queenax, ZIVA and all their products at the upcoming Fitness & Health Expos in Sydney (16th to 18th October) and Brisbane (24th and 25th October).
