Quayclean renews aquatic and recreation facility agreements

Quayclean Australia, Australia’s leading cleaning, hygiene and waste management services company, has underlined its position in the aquatic and recreation facilities sector after renewing agreements with the City of Glen Eira in Melbourne and Blacktown City Council and Bayside Council in Sydney.

With workers engaged under a full employed model, Quayclean has been re-appointed by Blacktown City Council for a further three years to service the Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre in Emerton, the Blacktown Leisure Centre in Stanhope, and the Blacktown Tennis Centre in Stanhope.

Bayside Council has extended Quayclean’s agreement at Bexley Aquatic Centre for three more years.

Quayclean will also continue to service the Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) and the Caulfield Recreation Centre for another three year term.

The company has partnered with GESAC since the Centre was constructed in 2012.

Advising that the renewals demonstrated the company’s outstanding reputation, high quality of work and specialist knowledge of cleaning at aquatic and recreation facilities, Quayclean Chief Executive, Mark Piwkowski stated “council-owned venues and operators rightfully demand the highest quality level of service for the care and safety of all patrons who use these aquatic and leisure centres. They want their assets protected with the best capability in staffing and capital equipment to ensure consistent results.”

Sash Petrevski, Quayclean’s founding partner and a Director, said the contract renewals were personally satisfying, noting “I take great pride with these renewals, and it continues our long-standing legacy with Aquatic and Leisure Centres as they were Quayclean’s first customers when the company commenced operations 21 years ago in 2002.

“Because of their wet and slippery surfaces, combined with the existence of body fats and oils and the humid environments, pool decks require specialist maintenance products and superior cleaning skills.

“In partnership with our industrial chemists, we developed our own range of specialised aquatics cleaning products.

“Together with our commitment to innovation, we have refined chemical applications, and widened our knowledge, experience and methodology techniques which have contributed to facility asset protection and mitigating the potential risks of slips and falls.”
