Program launched for 31st Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress

The Venue Management Association has today officially launched its 2024 Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress.

As the largest annual gathering of venue industry professionals in the Asia-Pacific, the Congress has been breaking attendance records year after year, delivering unparalleled comradery, connections and knowledge sharing at each event.

Set to be hosted at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre over three days, from Sunday 19th to Tuesday 21st May 2024, this year’s event will again deliver keynotes, plenary and breakout sessions, an exhibitor trade floor, social events, and our much-anticipated Venue Industry Awards and Gala Dinner.

Anticipating that this year’s Congress will again capture the energy that drives the venue industry,

VMA Chief Executive, Michael Brierley advised “the Congress is our industry’s annual event that brings us together to learn, connect and share.

“We are excited to offer an expanded trade floor this year, with our industry suppliers ready to showcase their solutions and innovations.”

“Our education program is shaping up to be outstanding with over 20 sessions planned across a variety of industry critical, professional and soft skill development topics featuring 50 plus leading international and domestic speakers and panellists.

Congress Organising Committee Chair, Tim Long CVE added “the Committee has been hard at work crafting an agenda that delves into all the key and emerging issues in our industry. We aim to give delegates the opportunity to gain valuable insights, connect with industry experts, and take their knowledge to the next level.

“We are especially pleased to announce the first of our international keynote speakers will be Enrique Uriel, Chief Information Officer, Real Madrid. He will be speaking about his experience of Real Madrid's digital transformation in delivering innovation for their local audience and 500 million global fans.”

As part of our official launch, the VMA is offering an early bird price to all new and existing VMA Members.

Full delegate registrations will provide access to all three days of education sessions, day catering (MT/L/AT) on the trade floor, as well as a social program including the Welcome Reception, After 5! Networking Function and the Venue Industry Awards & Gala Dinner.

In addition, the VMA is presenting a very special offer to young professionals with a special rate of $499.

This special package aims to engage under 30 industry professionals to experience the Congress and take part in a number of specific sessions to support their career growth.
