Perth’s Outback Splash opens new resort-style pool ‘The Lagoon’
Perth’s Outback Splash, located in the northern Swan Valley, has this week opened its new resort-style pool ‘The Lagoon’.
Created by Commercial Aquatics - the same team who constructed the pool at Perth's Crown Towers - ‘The Lagoon’ features an expansive crystal-clear pool, surrounded by tropical gardens and lavish amenities.
This eagerly awaited attraction is set to redefine family fun at Perth’s Outback Splash in the northern Swan Valley, offering a refreshing and cool experience for all ages - where luxury meets leisure.
A pool such as ‘The Lagoon’ has been in the long-term vision for Outback Splash with Director Paul Woodcock enthusing “we’re delighted to bring this concept to life and officially welcome guests to take a dip in our newest attraction, just in time for summer! Opening The Lagoon showcases our commitment to creating a full day of fun for all ages. Outback Splash is a place where families can make lasting memories, friends can relax and play, and adventure enthusiasts can revel in the thrill of the adventurous waterslides – there really is something for everyone.”
It's been 10 years since Perth’s Outback Splash introduced its first water attraction, the Splash Island waterslide playground with Tourism Council Western Australia Chief Executive, Evan Hall noting “watching the venue evolve, grow, and develop over the years has been truly inspirational. Today, it stands as one of the State's most distinguished tourism destinations.
“The unmatched quality of its attractions, the meticulously maintained grounds, and the industry-leading guest service standards are all commendable. Tourism Council is honoured to have fostered such a positive relationship with the park. We eagerly await what is undoubtedly their most anticipated addition yet and are thrilled to be part of the official opening.”
Key Features of The Lagoon:
Cool Off: The Lagoon is a lush oasis, designed for the whole family to enjoy and swim in.
Chill Out: Guests can lounge in style on comfortable sun beds located around the pool.
Resort Vibes: Created by the same team who constructed the pool at Crown Towers (Commercial Aquatics), resort vibes will be flowing. For those seeking a premium experience, private cabanas will be available to hire.
Poolside Bar: Food and beverages will be easily accessible from the poolside pop up bar, ‘The Pool House’.
Water Features: The enormous azure pool includes a swim-up island and shallow area for little ones. An interactive windmill waterplay structure sits in the centre of The Lagoon, paying homage to the venue’s proud Australian outback identity.
The Pool House is Gage Road’s second venue at Perth’s Outback Splash with Paul Dixon from Gage Roads sharing "we're excited to strengthen our partnership between Perth's Outback Splash and Gage Roads with the launch of the Lagoon and the Pool House Bar.
“We’re also gearing up for a special showcase on 24th and 25th February 2024, introducing our iconic pop-up bar, Betty, to the mix. During this time, guests will be able to enjoy some limited-release brews and exclusive merch giveaways, direct from the Fremantle A Shed. We're filled with anticipation for countless sun-filled adventures this summer with the Outback Splash team.”
