Perth’s Outback Splash new lagoon feature to open this summer

Construction is underway on Perth’s Outback Splash new addition -‘The Lagoon’ - opening this Summer and offering “an oasis of fun and relaxation in the Swan Valley” with features including an interactive windmill waterplay structure to reinforce the venue’s Australian outback identity.

The Lagoon is being created by Commercial Aquatics - the same team who constructed the pool at Crown Towers.

Perth’s Outback Splash offers a family-friendly outdoor entertainment destination located in the Swan Valley of Western Australia featuring an array of attractions, including water slides and water play areas, koala encounters, outdoor mazes, playgrounds, mini golf and more.

Opening late November, ‘The Lagoon’ will feature an expansive resort-style pool, surrounded by lush tropical landscapes and lavish amenities.

This eagerly awaited attraction is set to redefine family fun at Perth’s Outback Splash, offering a refreshing escape to retreat, relax and cool off. The crystal-clear pool will include a swim-up island and shallow area for children.

Among palm trees and tropical gardens, guests can relax on sun lounges, under shade umbrellas, or in chic private cabanas. The Lagoon also has a poolside pop-up bar, called the Pool House. This is the venue’s second Gage Roads location, serving a range of beverages from frozen cocktails to an array of beer and wine.

Director of Perth’s Outback Splash, Paul Woodcock says a pool has been the missing piece of the puzzle for many years and shared “Our guests have been requesting a pool for a long time, so we’re excited to introduce this attraction in November. The addition of ‘The Lagoon’ embodies our commitment to providing wholesome family fun and memorable outdoor experiences for guests of all ages.”

Construction is well underway for The Lagoon with the tiling almost finished, pumphouse nearly ready to switch on, landscaping underway, and the new party hire decking area nearing completion. Wall plastering and filling the pool with water is up next.
