Organisers announce postponement of New Zealand Fitness Expo
Exhibitions and Events NZ Ltd have announced the postponement of the 2019 NZ Fitness & Health Expo.
In an announcement on its website, the organisers advised “once we have looked at strategic options for the future we will advise further. At this time we thank the exhibitors, sponsors and supporters who have been involved over the past few years.”
Launched in 2012, the NZ Fitness & Health Expo has grown in size and popularity each year, enabling attendees to try, research and buy a number of products and services covering fitness equipment and accessories, nutrition, apparel, health services, education and career opportunities, technology and supplements.
Alongside these products and services, the event included a high-energy environment showcasing a number of live fitness championships including CrossFit, arm wrestling, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, fitness classes and a fitness model search.
The weekend event, which had been scheduled to be held at the ASB Showgrounds in October, also included fitness seminars with leading professionals and celebrity guests offering tips, advice and ideas.
