NSW Country Pool Managers count down to 2023 Conference
Dealing with the rise of anti-social behaviour, supporting country squad swimming and swimming pool management with Google are among topics that will feature at the upcoming NSW Country Pool Managers 2023 Conference.
With country pool operations having been massively impacted by the pandemic, the Conference returns this year - being staged at the Goulburn Workers Club at Goulburn in the NSW Southern Tablelands on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th May.
With country pools also facing staffing shortages and the loss of experienced operators and knowledge, the conference will also feature an open forum on these issues.
The conference will also feature a trades display and supplier presentations and a tour of the recently completed Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
Key conference presentations include:
Update of Public Swimming Pools & Spas Advisory Document - Leslie Jarvis, Senior Policy Advisor Water Unit, NSW Health Department
Swimming Pool Management with Google - Angus Westaway, Leisure & Recreation Group
Supporting Country Squad Swimming, Chris Myers, Regional Coaching Director, Swimming NSW
Changes to Superannuation - Stephen Sutton, Client Relationship Manager, Active Super
How to deal with the increase of Anti-Social Behaviour - Senior Constable Raymond, NSW Police
The conference is supported by Alias, International Quadratics, Magen Eco Energy, Orimatech, Palintest, ProMinent Australia and Tim Batt Water Solutions.
