Aquatic and Recreation Institute appoints new Executive Officer, announces Graham Arnold as 2023 conference program keynote

The NSW Aquatic and Recreation Institute has announced the appointment of Natalie Brownstein as its new Executive Officer.

In an update, the ARINSW Board of Directors advised “Natalie is a seasoned Project and Event Manager with expertise in high-level administration, strategy and process design.

“Natalie has worn many hats throughout her career as a writer, researcher, sales executive and volunteer manager to name a few. Wearing these hats, Natalie has a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex challenges. The finer details are never overlooked with Natalie and comes along with proactivity and positive attitude being key to success.”

Looking forward to her new role, Brownstein (pictured) stated "I'm so looking forward to hitting the ground running as Executive Officer at ARI and meeting all stakeholders to see how I can help facilitate connections in the industry and ensure we are best representing their needs."

ARI 2023 Conference and Trade Show
ARI is currently counting down to its 57th Annual Conference and Trade Show to be held on 22nd and 23rd May 2023 at the Fairmont Resort in the NSW Blue Mountains.

Set to once again present opportunities for professional development, connection and networking with industry, the conference program will include Head Coach of the Socceroos Graham Arnold as a keynote speaker at the 57th Annual ARI Conference and Trade Show 2023.

As a player, Arnold had a successful career, representing Australia at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and playing for various clubs in Australia, Japan, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Arnold turned his attention to coaching, beginning as a player/head coach with Northern Spirit in the former National Soccer League.

As a full time coach, he then went on to coach various clubs in Australia and overseas, including the Central Coast Mariners, Vegalta Sendai in Japan and Sydney FC, winning multiple titles with each team.

Arnold is known for his tactical acumen, motivational skills, and ability to develop young players.

The Institute has also announced announce that television sport and events presenter Stephanie Brantz will be returning to the ARI NSW stage as the MC for the conference.

Brantz is also Chair of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Sports Diplomacy Advisory Council and a Director at Football NSW.
