ARI NSW announces new Director appointments

Following its most recent Annual General Meeting the Aquatic and Recreation Institute (ARI) NSW has announced the appointment of Scott Vanderhayden to its Board of Directors.

Held during ARI's annual conference at the end of May, the AGM also saw the Board terms of Stan Wall and Marco Blanco extended.

Welcoming Vanderhayden, ARI NSW Chairperson, Matt Griffith advised "we are thrilled to welcome someone of Scott's calibre to the ARI NSW Board and congratulate him on his appointment.

"I would also like to congratulate both Stan Wall and Marco Blanco on the extension of their terms (and) I thank departing board members Jared Wilson, Nichole Edsall, Alex Simmons and Andrew Beamer for their enormous contributions over the years."

Commenting on this appointment, Vanderhayden, Belgravia Leisure South West NSW Area Manager, stated "as someone that has been involved in the aquatic and recreation industry for the last 20 years, I am really excited at the opportunity to join the ARI NSW Board.

"I see my role as having a positive influence and impact on the industry as a whole and supporting AIR NSW in developing a sustainable and rewarding pathway for the next generation of aquatic and leisure professionals.

"ARI NSW has done so much great work over the COVID-19 period to support the industry and I am honoured to have joined an organisation that promotes positive change."
