NSW Country Pool Managers Conference returns for 2023

With the pandemic having forced its cancellation in 2022, the NSW Country Pool Managers Conference is returning for 2023 - being held in Goulburn in the NSW Southern Tablelands.

With country and regional pools facing a series of ongoing challenges that, in addition to pandemic closures having over recent years included drought and floods impacting operations while many facilities are struggling with ageing infrastructure and rising energy costs, the Conference will be a must-attend for all in the sector.

Being held on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th May at the Goulburn Workers Club, the Conference schedule and agenda is currently being finalised.

Organisers have advised that a representative from NSW Health has been invited to discuss the revised Public Swimming and Spa document for the Wednesday morning training session while John McKenny of Macquatics Training will again provide his knowledge and experience in a Conference session.

The 'Tradies and Delegates' networking afternoon will be at the Goulburn Golf Club and Goulburn Bowling Club starting at 1pm on the first day of the Conference.

Prior to this, delegates will be able to join a tour of the recently completed Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

Thursday will be a full day covering a wide range of topics focusing on some issues which may be experienced at various facilities.
