New Zealand aquatic conferences combine

Organisations with aquatic industry roles in New Zealand have agreed to combine the New Zealand Recreation Association's JAWS (Just Add Water Seminar), the AUSTSWIM Aotearoa Conference and the New Zealand Lifeguard Championships together for the first time.

The new event, the Waves Conference, will be reuniting professionals from across the country in Rotorua to shape the future of aquatics.

Being held from 19th to 23rd August, conference organisers say “the ripple effect from this will be felt throughout the recreation industry in New Zealand” with the “name change reflecting a new direction based on creating long term partnerships within the sector, which will ultimately improve the programme content.”

The program for the Waves Conference will be available shortly.
