New indoor snow park opens in Abu Dhabi
Snow Abu Dhabi, the fourth indoor snow park from Emirati holding company Majid Al Futtaim, has opened in Abu Dhabi.
Launched just six months after the Dubai-based company’s Snow Oman, the new attraction has opened at the Reem Mall on Al Reem Island
Introducing the company’s fourth indoor snow park, Ignace Lahoud, Chief Executive of entertainment at Majid Al Futtaim, advised “Abu Dhabi is fast becoming a global destination for family entertainment and leisure, and we are excited to introduce a new experience unlike anything else the capital has to offer.”
Lahood added that the debut of Snow Abu Dhabi represents the company’s “commitment to bring innovative and immersive experiences to families across the MENA region.”
Covering an area of 9,732 metre², Snow Abu Dhabi features more than 20 rides and attractions including the Crystal Carousel, Polar Express Train, Snowflake Garden and Enchanted Tree along with three F&B outlets.
Reem Mall’s Director, Bruce von Kaufmann added “with the introduction of Snow Abu Dhabi, our visitors will have the opportunity to escape into a magical winter wonderland, complete with thrilling activities and enchanting surroundings.”
Back in 2005, Majid Al Futtaim opened Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates. This was joined in 2017 by Sky Egypt in Mall of Egypt, and in 2022 by Snow Oman in Mall of Oman. These are part of the group’s Global Snow brand.
