New Business Course for Personal Trainers

Aware that a staggering 90% of personal trainers quit less than one year into the profession, Justin Tamsett of Active Management has created a new 16-week correspondence program that shows trainers what they need to do to succeed in the fitness business.

Tamsett explains that the main reason personal trainers quit is because of "a failure to understand the business side of personal training with many leaving because they're not making enough money despite working long hours."

Tamsett's Master of Business for Personal Trainers requires a 30 minute per week commitment, and includes two modules: one for trainers working for a gym and another for trainers running their own business or working as part of a franchise.

The course is interactive with participants meeting key objectives each week. The course covers how to:

• Package your business
• Stand apart from the competition
• Keep clients
• Use social media
• Use referrals
• Manage your business financials

The Masters of Business for Personal Trainers is managed by Tamsett's successful fitness coaching and marketing group, Active Management.

It also includes benefits such as VIP attendance FitnessBiz and PT Biz.

Tamsett adds "like any business you need tools to succeed. We are excited to be offering this unique program that will help trainers take control and create viable, long-term businesses."

Active Management offers proven leadership, sales and marketing solutions for the fitness industry with industry-specific resources and coaching to help make businesses successful.
