VMA reveals new Board Members
The Venue Management Association (VMA) has announced the results of its 2024 Board Election to fill five vacant Active Board positions and one Allied Board position.
The result sees Adam Lister and Meagan Walker return as Directors with four new directors to commence a three-year term on the board as of 13th May.
The new Directors are:
Helen Fairclough, Chief Operating Officer, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre
Daryl Kerry, Chief Executive, VenuesLive Management Services Pty Ltd
Stuart Lyon AVM, Director of Strategy and Partnerships, VenuesWest
Steve Mackenzie CVE, Chief Innovation Officer, Momentus Technologies
Commenting on the results of the election, VMA President, Phil King AVM stated “the level of interest in this year’s election process was at its highest ever and I would like to thank our Members for their engagement in the nomination and voting process.
“On behalf of the members, I take this opportunity to welcome our newly elected Directors onto the Board and thank our retiring directors for their involvement.”
The VMA’s annual Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19th to 21st May.
