Marketing for Gyms release online video course on using social media

With large numbers of Personal Trainers in the fitness market place, Marketing for Gyms and Personal Trainers Director Sean Bridger believes social media presents PTs with a significant opportunity to stand out from the crowd and generate more leads for their business.

Bridger explains "many Personal Trainers are choosing to stick with outdated marketing methods such as letter box drops, newspaper advertisements and flyers.

"These methods are not as effective as they used to be and social media provides a cheap and extremely powerful alternative to generate more leads while also building an online community of followers.

"People are spending a lot of their spare time online these days and you just need to know some strategies to tap in to this huge market.

"Building relationships and providing value is the key to generating online success. Facebook and YouTube are two of the most effective platforms to do this."

Based on this experience, Marketing for Gyms has introduced a series of training videos to help PTs effectively use social media to generate more clients for their business.

The video series has been adopted by the Australian Institute of Fitness and is being integrated into the current curriculum for all graduating students.

The course combines practical elements so by the end of the course PTs have their own Facebook page and YouTube channel set up while also being equipped with all the knowledge they need to successfully start using Facebook to generate new clients for their PT business.

The course also goes into advanced strategies such as custom Facebook pages with lead capture tabs and the 'refer a friend' application which PT's can use to get huge exposure for their business.

Bridger adds "the video series is designed to open up a whole new world of marketing potential for Personal Trainers. The trainers that choose to embrace social media will have a huge edge on their competitors."

Marketing for Gyms are also holding a series of free online webinar for PTs during which they will be sharing key lead generation and referral marketing strategies.

The webinars will be run three times a week, and those wanting to register can click on the link below.
