Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre expands school holiday program to meet community demand

Due to demand for its School Holiday Intensives, Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre has announced the expansion of its popular school holiday program.

With most week one classes now at capacity and waitlists growing, additional sessions will be offered in the second week of the school holidays (14th to 18th July) at no extra charge for preschool and level 1 - 10 Learn to Swim members.

School Holiday Intensives are a 30-minute, stroke-specific classes designed to help Learn to Swim students progress faster and equip them with the skills to level up when the regular term recommences after the break.

To complement the extended schedule, MAC’s inflatable obstacles will now run every weekday from 11 am to 2 pm during the break, and families can look forward to a midweek movie screening at MAC's Dive-in Cinema on Wednesday, 16 July.

Students are welcome to book multiple sessions within their current level. However, students may be reassigned to more suitable sessions depending on swim criteria and availability.

While demand remains high, MAC encourages members to cancel any bookings they are unable to attend as early as possible to help accommodate others on the waitlist. If you no longer need to be on the waitlist, please update this too.

Week two bookings are open from 8am on Friday 20th July.
