Macedon ranges centre launches free Les Mills Virtual Fitness classes

The Kyneton Toyota Sports & Aquatic Centre is set to offer Les Mills Virtual Fitness classes during the first week of May, aiming to attract residents of all ages and abilities to the facility.

Advising of Macedon Ranges Shire Council’s focus on the health and wellbeing of members of the community, Mayor Jennifer Anderson stated that as well as having physical benefits, fitness activities can also do wonders for mental health and social connection, as well as helping individuals build a sense of achievement and empowerment.

Mayor Anderson noted “any of us have been quite passive the last couple of years due to COVID, and there is definitely a renewed interest in getting active and improving energy levels. This program is a great way to keep fit, especially over the colder winter months.

“The indoor classes provide a fun environment to get active and meet new friends. If you haven’t tried any LesMills classes yet, now is the perfect time to give it a go.”

The Council is launching the program as of Monday 2nd May, with free classes on offer until Saturday 7th May.

Classes include Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Balance, Core, RPM and Sh’Bam.
