LSV Aquatic Industry Summit 2023 looks to nurture excellence

Victoria’s aquatic industry is gearing up for the Life Saving Victoria (LSV) Aquatic Industry Summit 2023, being held at the Timberyard in Port Melbourne on 10th October.

Promising to present an immersive journey into the world of water safety, innovation and professional development, the day kicks off with the Blue Connections Breakfast, a chance to gain valuable insights into ‘Leadership in mental health and wellbeing’ from Grant ‘The Strong Man’ Edwards APM, former Australian Federal Police Commander.

A LSV spokesperson says “his words promise to set the tone for a day of inspiration and empowerment.”

From water safety and climate adaptation to innovative education methods and technological advancements, the summit covers it all. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore sessions such as ‘Swimming Upstream: Industry Updates’ and ‘Empowering Aquatic Leaders: Insights, Information, and Innovation’.

Andy Dennis, LSV’s General Manager of Aquatic Industry and Public Training, emphasises the significance of these themes in shaping the industry's future, stating “this summit is not just an event; it's a catalyst for positive change in the aquatics industry. We're here to facilitate conversations that will shape the future of aquatics, making water safety a top priority and enhancing the overall experience for both staff and patrons."

While knowledge-sharing takes centre stage, the Summit will also feature an extensive trade show connect attendees with industry experts and the latest innovations while a post-event networking session provides the perfect environment to reconnect with colleagues, share ideas and collectively drive the industry forward.

Tickets for the LSV Aquatic Industry Summit 2023 are priced at $180 per person while the Blue Connections Breakfast can be attended for just $50 per person.
