Les Mills International founder Phillip Mills receives APAC Awards of Excellence lifetime achievement award
Phillip Mills, founder and Executive Director of Les Mills International, has been named the recipient of the 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award at the APAC Fitness and Wellness Awards of Excellence presented at the Fit Summit conference in Singapore this week.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognised Mills (pictured) as being an executive who has made a defining difference to APAC’s fitness and wellness industry; a pioneer for meaningful change; a demonstrator of lifelong industry leadership; and with an extensive track record of shareholder ROI, and long-term commitment to working with communities and industry stakeholders for continued industry growth.
Commenting on the achievement, Les Mills Asia Pacific’s Chief Executive, Ryan Hogan stated “I honestly can’t think of a more worthy recipient for a Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Phillip has worked so hard for so long. It makes sense that he be acknowledged for the life-changing contribution that he has made on a global scale to the fitness industry. What he has achieved really is unrivalled.”
The APAC Fitness and Wellness Awards of Excellence celebrate the leading fitness and wellness brands and executives, and recognise the leading companies and executives from across health, fitness, wellness and hospitality throughout the Asia Pacific region.
This award was given based on Mills’ achievements and successes in the Asia Pacific Region over the past 12 months from March 2020 to March 2021.
