Les Mills Asia Pacific announces Business Partnership Manager appointment
Les Mills Asia Pacific (LMAP) has announced the appointment of Anna Burdekin to its team in the role of passionate Business Partnership Manager, with a focus on club partners in NSW.
Commenting on the appointment, Nick Aspinall, Les Mills Asia Pacific’s Partnerships Director - Australia, advised “as the Business Partnership Manager for our club partners in NSW, I have no doubt that Anna’s wealth of expertise and experience will be a great addition to our existing high performing team.”
Welcoming her new role, Burdekin (pictured) explained “a career change saw me start in the fitness industry whilst living in the UK.
“I progressed myself through the ranks from membership consultant, eventually reaching club management. When I returned to Australia, I started with Fitness First as Club Manager of their Bond Street Club. I was then given the opportunity to open the Barangaroo Titanium Fitness First Club, and this led me to the opportunity to manage the Virgin Active Club in Moore Park for close to two years, before being made redundant.
“I’ve been involved with Les Mills through my Club management roles in Australia and the UK, so I’m a strong believer in the Les Mills product and the value that it brings to facilities. I’m excited to be able to partner with the clubs across NSW and help each and every one of them achieve their potential by helping to influence our licensees in a positive way that will lead to the creation of a fitter planet.”
