Ironman Australia announces UKG as title partner

The IRONMAN Australia team has today announced that workforce management and payroll solutions platform UKG will be joining the event as title partner for 2025.

The 2025 edition is set to be held on Sunday 4th May, with athletes from across Australia and around the world to race in either UKG IRONMAN Australia or UKG IRONMAN 70.3 Port Macquarie.

UKG , a leading provider of HR, workforce management and payroll solutions will back the event as title partner and Official HR Software Partner.

As well as partnering with the event the UKG team will be front and centre on race day, with eight staff set to race IRONMAN Australia, including Managing Director Aaron Thorne, who has competed in four IRONMAN races in the past.

The UKG team taking part in IRONMAN Australia has been supported on their journey to the start line by three-time IRONMAN World Champion Craig Alexander.

Jeremy Kann, Vice President, Global Partnerships Asia Pacific for The IRONMAN Group, welcomed the UKG team to the event, commenting “we’re thrilled to have UKG join IRONMAN Australia as title partner for the 2025 event.

“It’s great to see that the UKG team are not only partnering with the event but getting involved as well and I can’t wait to see their athletes, including Managing Director Aaron Thorne, take on the 3.8km swim, 180km ride and 42.2km run in Port Macquarie this May."

Adding that the organisation iss excited to be partnering with the IRONMAN Australia team, Thorne stated “we are thrilled to partner with IRONMAN Australia as the title sponsor for the 2025 UKG IRONMAN Australia. This event epitomises endurance, teamwork, and excellence - values that resonate deeply with UKG.

UKG IRONMAN Australia will see athletes taking on a 3.8km swim, 180km ride and 42.2km run, with UKG IRONMAN 70.3 Port Macquarie featuring a 1.9km swim, 90km ride and 21.1km run.
