IAKS to stage networking event during National Sports and Physical Activity Convention

Experiencing rapid membership growth in Australia and New Zealand, the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) will be staging a networking event during the upcoming National Sports and Physical Activity Convention in Melbourne.

As a leading global industry association for aquatic, recreation and sport facilities, IAKS is committed to creating opportunities for multidisciplinary connection and collaboration.

As a result, IAKS with the support of Trackmaster International and iDwala, has secured a permanent presence in the NSC22 exhibition area throughout the three-day event.

IAKS welcomes both existing and potential members to visit, learn about its mission, and explore first-hand the benefits of association.

In addition to the exhibition space, IAKS is hosting a members’ networking event on the evening of 12th July.

The event is an opportunity for industry peers to connect with like-minded professionals and promote cross-sector exchange, information sharing and knowledge-transfer.

IAKS’ membership base spans 153 countries and represents multiple sectors and disciplines: architecture, engineering, design, local government, technical consultancy, planning, operative management, sports federations and clubs, suppliers and manufacturers.

With this depth, for those looking for the best operating model for an aquatic and recreaion centre, or the optimal design and construction methodology for a community ice rink, IAKS membership has something to offer.

Members also have access to IAKS’ rich repository of industry resources - research reports, whitepapers, fact sheets, webinars with international experts, specialised events and behind-the-scenes tours of some of the most successful sport and leisure facilities.

With the industry on the brink of accelerated growth and change, there is no better time to become involved.

IAKS invites delegates to visit its Stand #190 at the NSC Exhibition.
