National Sports Convention to spotlight transformational potential of community sport and leisure facilities
The upcoming National Sports Convention will deliver a live Keynote Session on Thursday 25th November spotlighting how prominent global thought leaders are creating the next generation of facilities with impact.
This Keynote Session will explore the transformational potential for community sport and leisure facilities to create community hubs that support a complete range of community needs and broader ambitions of creating healthy and engaged commitment.
NCS will address the “need to change how we think about, fund and encourage innovation, could create a greater community embracement of physical activity, recreation, play, health and wellbeing opportunities. Social infrastructure encompassing community shaping projects in the areas of healthcare, education, transport orientated urban regeneration as well as sporting and cultural facilities will be critical if we truly want to create exciting and sustainable Active Cities.”
