Hockey Australia announces first official Alumni partnership formed with Partners Wealth Group

Hockey Australia celebrates the incredible value and legacy of its alumni community with the announcement of its first official Alumni partnership, formed with Partners Wealth Group.

As one of Australia’s leading providers of financial advice and strategic wealth services, Partners Wealth Group will connect generations of Hockeyroos and Kookaburras as Hockey Australia’s Official Alumni Partner while delivering educational content and strategic financial guidance, collectively ensuring players past and present are supported beyond elite sport.

With the generous support of Partners Wealth Group, Hockey Australia can also continue to bring together and recognise the alumni community through exclusive alumni functions, awards ceremonies and special events ahead of international matches on home soil.

Hockey Australia Chief Executive David Pryles advised “we’re proud to align Partners Wealth Group with our alumni community. This landmark partnership combines shared values of teamwork, leadership, and a deep respect for those who have shaped our sport.

“Together, we’re committed to celebrating and recognising our alumni, and we look forward to a collaborative partnership that supports our past and present players.”

Mathew Cassidy, Managing Director of Partners Wealth Group enthused “we’re thrilled to join Hockey Australia as Alumni Partner.

“There is a clear synergy between our two organisations. Both are driven by a high-performance culture and share the view that building a great team around you helps you to succeed, whether that be in life, sport, business or your wealth journey.

“We look forward to a successful partnership built on shared values, and we’re excited to support Hockey Australia in its vision to grow its community and help people at all levels of the game thrive both on and off the pitch.”

The partnership takes effect immediately, with Partners Wealth Group set to play an active role in alumni engagement through events, financial wellbeing initiatives, and educational sessions over the next 12 months.

Founded in 2003, Partners Wealth Group manages over $4 billion in funds under advice and employs more than 150 people across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. PWG’s unique approach brings together experts across financial advice, investments, superannuation, lending, and legal, partnering with accounting firms to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
