GRC Solutions to deliver free webinar on considerations for mandating staff vaccinations

With organisations currently grappling with whether to implement mandates on vaccinations as employees return to the workplace, GRC Solutions is delivering a free webinar during which GRC Solutions Head of Content, Adrian Phoon, will interview Aimee Barclay, Director – Legal, Adprim Solutions to discuss these and other practical considerations around mandating – or not – vaccinations for staff.

Organisations are also faced with liability for any risks to health and safety in the workplace; reluctance for their staff to return to work; record-keeping with respect to vaccination statuses, consent and privacy; and ever-changing laws and regulations that can vary not only from state to state but also from month to month.

The legal advice around employers’ rights to mandate staff vaccinations – and round the rights, including privacy rights, of staff – continues to develop.

But apart from the legal position, what about the practicalities?

Key topics of discussion during the Webinar:

Staff Retention and Safety
How can organisations perform the balancing act needed to retain staff and your desired level of workplace safety?

Employer flexibility vs Employee flexibility
Balancing the business’ need for flexibility from employees, with the needs workers have for flexibility in their job and personal life.

Office Culture
Evaluating the desirability of reviving the collegiate atmosphere of the office with the benefits to staff of working-from-home.

Questions
There will be the opportunity for questions at the end of the webinar, but we invite questions in advance. Please send your questions to bill.tarrant@grcsolutions.com.au
