Medical science has made history by developing a vaccine from scratch within a year. Making a vaccine needs time- a vaccine has to clear various approval stages; different tests are to be done. Naturally, all this takes years.
However, as the COVID-19 pandemic was taking a huge toll across economies in terms of human life, economic and social welfare, scientists, and doctors performed their best to produce a vaccine against the coronavirus as soon as they could.

• Facilitation is a must: Facilitating vaccination is also an employer’s duty. They could do it by giving a holiday for vaccination or they can organise vaccination camps for the employees. The primary idea is to make it convenient for people to get their COVID-19 jab.
• Build informative campaigns: Information regarding the after-effects of a vaccine dose should be transparently provided to the people concerned. An employer needs to make everyone aware of what should and should not be done before and after vaccination.
• Do not discriminate: It is understood that some people might get vaccinated on time, and some might not. But employers shouldn’t discriminate against people on that basis. Rather, they should promote everyone for vaccine. If some people are hesitant, rules should be made for non-vaccinated and for people at risk, but discrimination should be avoided.
• Privacy of data: Health related details are personal for everyone. Thus, employers need not disclose details of their employer regarding vaccination. Everyone working and purchasing from an employee should have trust in the employer that they won’t disclose their private information in public.
• COVID-19 secure workplace: Above all, it is the foremost important duty of an employer to create a safe and secure workplace in the times of COVID-19. It is their duty to ensure all COVID-19 precautionary rules are duly implemented and followed within the organisation
To overcome the catastrophic times led by the coronavirus, everyone needs to join hands in the vaccination process. To stimulate efficient vaccination, employers need to understand their responsibilities. They should inspire and ensure that their employees and customers are safe and vaccinated on time.
