Gerard Healy returns to Johnson Health Tech Australia as Managing Director
Johnson Health Tech Australia has announced the appointment of Gerard Healy as Managing Director, replacing Michael Conlan, who is retiring after six years in the role.
Healy, who worked under Conlan as Head of Sales for Johnson Health Tech Australia (JHT-AU), took up the role as of 1st January.
Looking forward to his new role, Healy said it was “an honour and a privilege” to take on role, in which he will be overseeing global fitness equipment brands Matrix Fitness, Vision Fitness and Horizon Fitness.
During his time with JHT-AU, Conlan has been acknowledged for delivering outstanding growth, taking, according to a company statement, “the business to new heights … from obtaining continuous profitability over the years, to the major re-location of the new state-of-art facility for the Australian headquarters.”
Prior to stepping up to his new role, Healy advised on social media that “throughout December I spent time at our global headquarters in Taiwan undertaking a corporate induction, spending time with members of our senior leadership teams, including founder and chairman Peter Lo which was a great experience.
I look forward to connecting with our customers and partners … supporting them to help as many people as possible improve their quality of life using our industry leading fitness equipment.”
