Genesis Fitness Clubs to open three sites in Sydney
Genesis Fitness Clubs are to open three new gyms in Sydney.
With 38 clubs already established across Australia, the Belgravia Group owned fitness chain already operates in Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, South Australia and six other sites in NSW.
On their website, Genesis explain that the new clubs will offer âa huge range of group fitness classes, including the exciting Zumba, and dedicated personal trainers" in order to help members reach their goals. The clubs will also provide flexible membership options and free personalised programs.
Founded in Melbourne, the Group's growth has been facilitated by a management model which allows three different ownership structures to operate under the brand.
These consist of:
• Owned and operated clubs which the group uses to innovate, develop and test new business strategies;
• Joint venture clubs where the group partners with key people, usually present employees, who then operate under the franchise system; and
• A fully franchised model offered to a select number of existing operators.
Former Debit Success Chief Executive David Lowe has recently taken on the role of Genesis' Chief Executive.
