Melbourne Victory Partners with Genesis Fitness Clubs
On the eve of season five of the A-League, the Melbourne Victory club have partnered with Genesis Fitness clubs, taking a minority stake in the new Genesis Fitness Box Hill South in suburban Melbourne.
Melbourne Victory Chief Executive Geoff Miles said the club's stake in the innovative new fitness club is a long-term strategy aimed at assisting revenue generations outside of football, explaining that "Genesis Fitness Clubs are an excellent fit for Melbourne Victory and will allow us to further interact with the community and continue to promote a healthy lifestyle.
"As a club with teams in the Hyundai A-League and Westfield Women's League, representing both genders, we are pleased to associate ourselves with Genesis Fitness Clubs."
Genesis Fitness Box Hill South will represent as a full-size fitness club, and also has a vision to provide wellness solutions at an affordable price. Spread over 2,000 metres2, the fitness club offers over 60 pieces of cardio equipment and modern weight training equipment encompassing machine and free weights.
The club, on Middleborough Road in Box Hill South, will also offer a day spa, body and mind dedicated areas along with free education and information seminars for members.
Genesis Fitness will also host a boxing training centre that will deliver comprehensive boxing training programs and a full size boxing ring.
The new club is the 32nd facility in the Genesis Fitness Club family, with 22 currently in Victoria, six in Queensland, three in New South Wales and one each in Tasmania and South Australia.
