FitTech Summit and FIBO collaborate to project the future of fitness
FIBO 2020 is collaborating with the FitTech Summit in early April in the German city of Cologne to present insights from the FitTech industry and project the future of fitness.
This journey through the health and optimisation movement using technology innovation will focus on facts and forecasts from the sector. Also featuring on the agenda will be the factors that move people on their way to physical fitness: mindset + motivation, prevention, performance and regeneration.
The FitTech Summit, established by Natalia Karbasova in 2018, is a European conference on fitness technologies and digital health, backed by Hubert Burda Media. With 70 international speakers and the 50 most relevant Fit-Tech start-ups, the B2B conference pools the most important content for the future of the fitness and health industry once a year.
Karbasova advises “we provide the ideal setting for extending your own network and brushing up your knowledge in the field of fitness technologies. We are all the more delighted to cooperate with a long-established and strong partner like FIBO and to develop the future of the fitness industry together.”
Commenting on the cooperation, FIBO' Silke Frank notes “we have invested in a high-quality program here. Together with the organisers of the FitTech Summit we can therefore contribute to the further development of our industry for which technological innovations are becoming increasingly important.”
The lecture program for the FitTech Summit: FIBO Edition will be embedded into the new concept of FIBO Hall 5.1, which will become the Future Hall in 2020 placing innovations and start-ups centre stage.
The speakers’ list includes, among others, co-founder and Chief Executive of Urban Sports Club Benjamin Roth, who will explain how to motivate new members and keep existing members thrilled. Dr. Lutz Graumann, founder of Quaduma, team physician of the German Ice-hockey League and expert in regeneration techniques shares methods to perfect muscle regeneration and improve training effects. Even 'Fitness Content Pope' Mason Bendewalt from the USA, will take part. He is the mastermind of the successful coaching program P90X and advises FitTech start-ups such as Tonal on content. In his keynote 'Connect the Unexpected' he will show to what extent Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence will shape the future of fitness - and highlight the decisive role man will play here. Other speakers are Simon Sollberger - co-founder of Pear Sports (San Francisco), Christian Dörffer - co-founder of MyCrew, general partner & co-founder of Sweet Capital (London) and Thomas Kulcsar - Investment Manager at Burda Principal Investments (London).
