New approach to altitude training to debut at Melbourne Fitness Show
Debuting for the first time in Melbourne at this year’s Fitness Show, Air Locker Training aims to bring the ‘mountain to the masses’ by providing simulated altitude training in a commercial environment.
Air Locker Training is not just a fitness program but creates an altitude atmosphere in a facility environment, with workouts conducted by leading industry trainers, in a group environment of enthused members, who work together to break fitness goals, build confidence and complement their wellbeing.
Offering enhanced environments to deliver group training, Air Locker Training’s proponents have designed tailored workouts to meet and exceed fitness objectives, for people at any level. Through scientific research and experts who have trained and mentored athletes and professionals from UFC fighters and NFL players, to Olympians and even astronauts, Air Locker Training’s foundation is based on years of extensive scientific research.
For those exercising in an Air Locker Training environment they can attain a 28% greater metabolic rate, 300% greater EPOC after workout and 25% greater burn in every workout.
Explaining the benefits, an Air Locker Training spokesperson advised “our exclusive Focus Through Fatigue (FTF) training method delivers research-backed workouts in an altitude environment (with) the benefit of an altitude environment (being) the control of levels of oxygen in the room (where) your cells are stimulated to adapt to the change in the atmosphere by enhancing how they use the available oxygen to produce energy.”
The Air Locker Training spokesperson also highlighted the science behind their technology links to this year’s announcement of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, awarded to William G. Kaelin Jr., Sir Peter J. Ratcliffe and Gregg L. Semenza for their discoveries of how cells adapt to oxygen availability.
Being held in the Victorian capital for the sixth year, Melbourne’s Fitness Show, which is being held on 26th and 27th October will offer attendees the opportunity to meet the team at Air Locker Training, and enjoy one-on-one discussions with the founders and trainers, a demonstration of workout activities and detailed explanations about the science behind altitude training and its FTF method.
The Air Locker Training spokesperson added “Air Locker Training is not just for members - it’s for passionate businesspeople, looking for the investment of a lifetime.
“In addition to our state-of-the-art and exclusive resources and expertise, we have also built a lucrative franchise model, allowing studio owners to jump on board the opportunity of a lifetime.
“Our franchise pack includes all the ins and outs of the innovation - from workout techniques to marketing collateral - and our management team is there to guide you along the path of success.”
