Fitness Expo set to take over Brisbane

The 2014 Brisbane Fitness and Health Expo will throw open its doors at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 6th and 7th September, making this annual event Queensland’s pinnacle weekend for those with a professional or personal interest in fitness and health.

Now in its fourth year, the ever growing Brisbane Fitness and Health and Expo will bring together everything fit and healthy in an entertaining and educational environment, with an expected 11,000 visitors.

This year’s event will feature over 120 exhibits by leading industry brands, celebrity appearances, nutritional and cooking demonstrations, continuous stage entertainment and a range of free giveaways. With more than 60% of the Expo space already sold, the 2014 Expo will feature major additions including:

• A new Wellness Zone, providing expert one on one advice and treatment

• The Cardio Corner, where teams from gyms, PTs, general fitness fans will sweat it out against the clock - and each other - in a triathlon-like challenge

• Tiered stadium seating for around 300 people around Again Faster Arena - an action-packed area featuring CrossFit, Powerlifting, Strongman and Olympic Weightlifting

• More high profile fitness and sporting personalities

Due to popular demand, the Expo is pleased to announce that ‘Commando Steve’, The Biggest Loser’s high profile personal trainer, will again take to the Main Stage at 12 noon on the Saturday followed by the opportunity for Expo attendees to meet-and-greet Commando Steve during Saturday afternoon.
