FitDesk software releases online calendar feature for fitness clubs
FitDesk software have announced the release of their new online calendar feature within their gym bookings functionality.
The online calendar feature allows members to self serve and book their own gym appointments from their computer or smartphone.
Released at the end of last year, the feature helps free up frontline staff as well as improve the member experience.
The online calendar widget can be embedded into a page of a centre's website or can be set up as a sharable link that can be included in follow up touchpoints with members.
For example, the online calendar link can be shared with new members via a welcome email which will allow them to book a fitness assessment with a trainer.
The combination of FitDesk automated member touchpoints with the online calendar feature poses to be a potent tool for member engagement and retention.
The feature will also work with FitDesk's popular SMS reminders and member journey reporting features.
FitDesk is used widely by Australian fitness clubs and includes functionality for clubs bookings, fitness assessments, workout programs and automated member communications.
