Retention Software on display at Fitness Show

Leading health club retention software FitDesk will be on display at the upcoming Fitness Show in Sydney.

FitDesk is one of Australia’s most popular member retention software technologies and is used by a large number of industry leading fitness clubs and aquatic, recreation and sport centres.

FitDesk Sales Manager Lane Harrison explains “generating improvements in health club member retention can be difficult.

“Often knowledge about member retention strategies is not the problem. The biggest area where we see health clubs struggle is through the implementation of a retention strategy.”

To successfully implement an effective member retention strategy facility’s need the right toolsto more effectively track member’s progress and provide support at the right time.

FitDesk Retention helps clubs, centes and facilities implement an effective member retention pathway that can deepen the relationship with members and ensures they get the support they require to reach their goals.

A member retention pathway is a series of steps a member takes to reduce the risk of drop out and typically includes a series of appointments, email communications, resources and personal follow up.

The FitDesk system is based around developing an effective retention pathway and managing each members journey through the pathway.

FitDesk achieves this through functionality such as ‘follow up scheduling’ which automatically programs key follow up ‘touch points’ with members so staff know the appropriate time to reach out to members.

In depth reporting allows managers to monitor staff compliance to ensure all follow up is being completed on time so that each member receives the support and guidance they need to reach their goals.

Another popular element of FitDesk is its retention automation capabilities which allows health clubs to set up and deliver an automated schedule of communication.

Automation of follow up communications such email and SMS content help robotically educate members and create deeper relationships.

Harrison adds “we found that a hybrid approach of using automation combined with personalised follow up is most effective when it comes to member satisfaction and retention improvements.”

FitDesk will be exhibiting at the 2017 Fitness Show in Sydney from 28th to 30th April 2017, at Booth S19.

Interested clubs and facilities can book to receive a 15 minute retention pathway demonstration and free member retention pathway way blueprint if they visit the FitDesk stand.
