GreeneDesk software has launched their new online childcare booking technology for aquatic, fitness and recreation centres with software designed to simplify the booking process for childcare and eliminate the significant amount of paperwork required when operating a childcare service.

The GreeneDesk childcare system allows for aquatic, fitness and recreation centres to manage all aspects of running a childcare service from paperless enrolments, to managing bookings and attendances.

One of the innovative features of the system is that parents can book their child in for crèche or occasional care sessions online. Parents can simply log on onto their home computer or a smart phone device, see the availability of the childcare sessions and proceed to book their child into a session using an assigned username and password.

"A lot of parents are time poor and it's quick and easy to be able to book online rather than calling the centre and hanging on the line whilst waiting to get through."

The system also includes an innovative sign/in and out functionality where parents can sign their child in and out of the centre via electronic signature on an ipad or other tablet device.

Harrison adds "the response since we launched the system two months ago has been great.

"We had several leisure centres sign up as soon as the technology was announced and the feedback from users has been fantastic."
