Porirua City Council’s Dash Swim School introduces SwimDesk software

Porirua City Council’s Dash Swim School has become the latest aquatic facility to implement SwimDesk software, and the first swim school in the Wellington region to introduce the technology, which has been adopted widely throughout other parts of New Zealand – including in Christchurch, Auckland and Dunedin.

The team at Dash Swim School underwent their SwimDesk training on the 11th April and officially launched the programme on Monday the 29th April.

SwimDesk was adopted by Dash Swim School to provide parents with more detailed feedback about their child’s progress, as well as to go digital with their student assessment processes.

Over the past five years, SwimDesk has become Australia’s most widely used tool for managing swim school assessments electronically.

The program is compatible with most centre management systems making implementation into an existing swim school seamless.

SwimDesk is also hosting an Aquatic and Recreation Performance Workshop in Western Australia on Friday 24th May, at the Cockburn ARC.

The Workshop has been designed to share new ideas, best practices and innovative strategies to improve aquatic and recreation centre performance.
