Fernwood Fitness launches new Fusion studio brand
Leading women’s fitness group Fernwood Fitness has launched a new wellness concept, Fernwood Fusion.
Occupying a much smaller footprint than traditional Fernwood Fitness gyms, with each studio operating in a 200 to 300 metre² space, the Fusion concept is focused on a women-only boutique wellness are offering classes in reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, specialised yoga, barre and meditation, as well as Fernwood’s Empower programs and backed by expert instructors.
In addition, Fernwood will also be launching its exclusive and Fusion class series; high-energy, low impact workouts for women’s wellbeing based on a blend of yoga, barre, reformer and mat Pilates brought together into a single sequence.
These HIIT-style workouts have been created to engage exercisers’ major and minor muscle groups for 40 minutes, followed by five mindful minutes of meditation to relax, recharge and reset. This class style has been designed to be life efficient, offering movement and mindfulness in one session.
Introducing Fusion, Fernwood Fitness founder and Managing Director, Diana Williams explains “we are beyond thrilled to launch Fernwood Fusion.
“The Fernwood Fusion model is complimentary to the traditional Fernwood Fitness model, as it increases consumer choice and availability, with a unique and uber competitive brand vision.
“Our Fernwood Fusion studios are purpose-designed to offer a complete fitness and wellness experience. For the owner/s of a new Fernwood Fusion franchise, the smaller development footprint of the studio means lower overhead costs, a cost-effective compact staff model, sustainable business model, and a lucrative place in the industry.
“We expect a huge uprising in wellness-based services for years to come, and the research only reinforces what we have been forecasting for many years.”
The first franchise is set to open in October in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond with the group having a target of 10 units in the network by the end of 2022.
Women’s health and wellbeing have always been at the forefront of the Fernwood business model, providing safe spaces for women to improve health, fitness and wellness for everyday vitality. Not only does it make good business sense to tap into this market, but it delivers on growing consumer demand for premium products, services and spaces.
