Fernwood Fitness joins Mudderella as its Official Gym Partner

Mudderella, the leading women’s obstacle race challenge, has created a partnership with Fernwood Fitness that will see the woman only gym group become its official gym partner.

The partnership sees Mudderella and Fernwood Fitness team up to help members and participants break new boundaries in their training for upcoming Mudderella events.

Introducing the partnership, Mudderella spokeswoman Carol Gottshall explains “this is the first year we've held a Mudderella event in Australia and we’re excited to be working alongside Fernwood Fitness to help women push their boundaries and challenge themselves in 2015.

“Mudderella aims to meet women’s real active lifestyle needs and provide them with a truly unique experience.

“There’s a great synergy between the brands, and Fernwood’s expertise and tailor-made facilities is a great way to further inspire Australian women to take the challenge.”

Fernwood founder Diana Williams is excited to be involved with the renowned women’s mud run, adding “Mudderella is a great event to partner with and aligns well with Fernwood’s mission to empower women to be the happiest and healthiest version of themselves.

“We have always advocated strength training in our clubs and think Mudderella will help our members reach new physical and mental goals, make new friends and have fun in the process.”

Mudderella’s first event in Australia will be held in Melbourne this November and will include a range of obstacle courses including balance beams, tyre swings, cargo-net climbing, chute sliding and a whole lot of mud.

To mark the partnership and prepare women for their first Mudderella event, Fernwood Fitness is holding a free boot camp at Albert Park Indoor Sports Centre In Melbourne this Sunday (9th August).

The boot camp is being run by Fernwood Fitness personal trainers to increase awareness and excitement around the event.

Fernwood Fitness will also be providing exclusive in-club workouts including Functional Fit Group Training and specialised group fitness classes, as well as complimentary passes to Mudderella participants and a friend upon registration.
