Swim Australia launches new video newsletter

Learn-to-swim and water safety authority Swim Australia has advanced its communication channels with the launch of its very first video newsletter.

The SwimTV UPDATE will be emailed to nearly 600 Swim Australia Registered Swim Schools - plus subscribers - every month, and will aim to animate news into a summarised, visually engaging and informative version, of its more traditional Update Newsletter which will still be distributed.

Introducing the video newsletter, Swim Australia Chief Executive Ross Gage states "as the leading industry authority, we take pride in ensuring our family of swim schools remain at the forefront of industry news, education and general updates.

"It's so exciting to be able to offer this unique, advanced service, which will not only aid our members, but will ultimately benefit Swim Australia swimming families. It's a fantastic tool, to help enhance how swim schools and the industry body communicate, and continue to reduce drowning deaths in Australia."

In this month's inaugural SwimTV UPDATE, the video newsletter features:

The latest world first research findings, on how learning to swim from a young age can help swimming kids become smarter kids;

An update on CPR chart regulations, and the launch of Swim Australia's updated aquatic charts;

A look into Swim Australia media with who and what's making news around the country; and a

Noticeboard with important industry dates and events to diarise.
