Fanplus continues to thrive despite COVID challenges

With COVID denying numerous in-person experiences, sporting and entertainment experience platform - Fanplus -  pivoted to connect fans digitally with athletes, personalities and sporting clubs.

From boxing with Australian Champion Tim Tszyu to a beach volleyball session with Australian Olympian Mariafe Artacho del Solar or finding the extra spark for children’s netball team with an appearance from NSW Swift’s star Paige Hadley - Fanplus has delivered.

Fanplus provides sports and entertainment fans and industry insiders with access to the stars that nobody else can get with a passion for bringing to life fans’ dreams, creating unique, memorable moments via live experiences while supporting and giving back to community and charity organisations.

Fanplus has been developed in consultation with more than 100 Australian sporting clubs, individual sports professionals, celebrities, and TV personalities and is designed to create unforgettable experiences with lasting memories.

Founder of Fanplus Rod Harys advises “It’s been an interesting few years working in the Covid world and we wanted to bring people some joy especially around birthdays so we introduced digital experiences.

“While no one could leave their homes we were able to pivot by bringing the stars straight to their living room with video messages including shout-outs from Rugby’s Chloe Dalton, AFL Great Moana Hope, Australian Rugby League Star Sammy Bremner, and NRL Stalwart Terry Lamb.

“As we emerge and adapt to this whole new world Fanplus is set to deliver and surprise and delight those who receive our experiences as a gift.

“We want to ensure that everyday Australians have access to truly unique experiences whether they are sports fans, entertainment lovers, or want to be kings of their kitchens.”

Since its inception in 2019 Fanplus has managed to amass more than 700 experiences across sport and lifestyle brands, providing bespoke experiences for fans not only in Australia but across the world.
